NYU’s Scholars Convention Week, hosted by the Center for Faculty Advancement, is a professional development program and reunion for over 200 current and past Faculty First-Look Scholars from participating programs across the university as well as Provost Postdoc Alumni. Programming for scholars includes sessions and workshops focused on topics such as managing stress and faculty burnout; the invisible workload for faculty of color; the importance of mentoring; jobs outside the academy; the use of ChatGPT, and other hot topics within the academy.
